Hahahaha y'all are wild!
I posted on my Insta story asking if you would be interested in a haul from Westerly Natural Market, and you guys went crazy. Soooo I'm not going to wait until I've tried all of my goods, because to keep you waiting that long would be straight up cruel.
Today was the first time I was ever at Westerly Natural Market, and I'm really disappointed with myself that I didn't go sooner. The place is huge. Like, overwhelmingly BIG. I was in there for about an hour and a half and when I left I felt that I STILL didn't see everything. It's basically a real-life Vitacost. It's Whole Foods on steroids. I can't explain it, really, except that I was so damn HAPPY in that foodie heaven. When I go to health food markets or stores, I tend to only see about A QUARTER of the inventory I saw today. This place had it ALL. So I guess when I saw triple digits pop up on the register, I really shouldn't have been THAT surprised... hey, I could have worse teenage addictions!
Alright, so like I said I haven't tried ANY of these products yet (unless I say otherwise) so I can't guarantee they're good, but I LOVE finding new snacks and foods and really enjoy when other accounts share their finds. So this is my way of giving back ;)
Let's get right into it!
(All pictures were taken while I was waiting for my train at Grand Central, so photo quality is v low but intentions are v good)
1. ACURE Facial Cleansing Creme (Argan + Mint)
Not a foodie find, but definitely caught my eye! I'm not well-versed in beauty products or skin care, but I figured I'd give this a try. I actually just used this when I got home and after one try I can't say much, but it seems promising!

2. The Seaweed Bath Co. Wildly Natural Seaweed Body Cream (Citrus)
Also caught my eye, mainly because I just ran out of body lotion this morning...hehe. This smells so fresh and lively and feels like butter on my skin...which as a foodie kind of makes me cringe but you get the point. Also new-to-me so can't say much!

3. Healing Home Foods Raw Crackers (Pizza)
How GOOD do these look!? With an Italian background, pizza flavored ANYTHING is a win for me. (Anyone else grow up demanding Pizza Goldfish or nothing??) These are made with almond flour and oat flour, plus they're seasoned with nutritional yeast which is my fave!! Little pricy but worth it for the ingredient list :D

4. This Pie Is Nuts Individual Pie Square (Chocolate Mousse)
NOMMMMMMMM omg this looks amazing! The ingredients are amazing, loaded with healthy fats and prebiotic fiber (maple syrup!!) and overall just look like it'll make me HAPPY which is an important part of choosing foods to eat as well!! I've seen this brand sold at Springbone Kitchen (my favorite NYC lunch spot) so I know it's gotta be good ;)

5. Hungry Bars (Original Mix)
This bar is made by a local small business, so I couldn't help but support them! It's so important to pay small businesses attention and contribute to their success, as they use local ingredients and create healthful and nutritious products. This bar is pretty carb dense and relatively low fat, so I plan on throwing it in my gym bag to chow down on post-leg day!

6. Healing Home Foods Baked Granola (P-Nutty Chip)
This brand is clearly pretty pricy, but again you pay for quality (which I'm hoping for here!) Those chunks of granola look huge and sweet and tasty, and I believe I can never have too much granola ;) Nothing compares to my beloved Purely Elizabeth, but attaching myself to one product isn't fun! Branch out and expand your horizons.

7. The Kale Factory Kale Cookie (Chocolate Chip)
You can't see it, but this cookie is HUGE and THICK AF. I could feel it through the wrapper and it is SUCHHHH A TEASE! Just because the word "kale" is on this label doesn't make it some super health, superfood, vegetable-loaded cookie. Matter of fact, it's pretty much just a chocolate chip cooke (notice how far down the ingredient list "kale" is, and how the other ingredients aren't super "clean" in terms of a cookie). However, I figured I can't pass up a cookie right?? The serving size is less than half, so you can imagine it to be similar to a Lenny and Larrys I'm assuming (I've never had one).

8. Luv Superfoods Hazelnut Truffle
How cute is this! Ingredients on point and loaded with healthy fats and superfoods, which are two key elements of my diet. Totally planning on throwing this on top of a yogurt bowl in the future...

9. Num Num Almond Milk (Vanilla Cup)
I'm actually SO excited for this. It's basically almond milk yogurt but is relatively low fat and doesn't have added sugars. I love how this has virtually NO protein, because I get so much protein from other sources so this is a perfect balancing snack! Really looking forward to this one.

10. Forager Dairy-free Nutmilk Shake (Nuts and Vanilla)
I've been eating this brand's beet chips for awhile now and they're one of my favorites. I normally stick to Blue Diamond Cashew Milk, but the word "shake" really sold me. This stuff has GOT to be creamy and thick, and I can't wait to try it out! Each bottle has two servings, just a heads up!

11. SunWarrior Sol Good Protein Bar (Cinnamon Roll)
SOOOOO hype for this! I LOVE this brand's protein powder for my protein cereal, and I had no idea they made bars! Such a pleasant surprise, and I'm eager to try this out. I only saw this one flavor, but if it's good I'm definitely doing some investigating ;)

12. Wholeme Clusters (Cinnamon Banan Chip)
Ingredients look decent, but the flavor is what got me. UHHH YUM. Such a good combo. Plus the chunks are SOFT BAKED, which is my weakness. Yeah, these look like they're going to be a new favorite.

13. Pure Bliss Organics Organic Hemp Energy Bites (Peanut Butter)
Mini chunks of peanut butter? Pass them over please!! Literally couldn't ask for more in life. These look pretty tasty and I imagine them being a sweet addition to a yogurt bowl! Plus those ingredients are looking good to me ;)

14. FoodieFuel Fuel Snacks (Swiss Chocolate)
From what I can tell, these remind me of some sort of bark or toffee, but better because SWISS chocolate. Plus the cute lil' slogan at the top is pretty convincing...I'd like to fuel up with some of these please :D

15. Silver Hills Bakery Sprouted Organic Ancient Grains (Big Red's Bread)
Remember the Marathon Rolls I posed awhile back from Wegmans? The super seedy and dense bread rolls I have on Sundays? That's what this bread reminds me of (from reading the ingredients and its appearance). I love this brand but haven't had this variation yet, so I'm looking forward to some toast real soon.

16. Keep Healthy Low Glycemic Bar (Banana Nut)
Not only do I love the name of these bars, but I've actually had this one before and it was insane. Literally spot on tastes like banana bread. It's dense, sweet, wholesome, and filling. I really like these bars, their ingredients, and the happiness they bring me!

17. Rawxies (Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Chocolate Brownie)
I received a brownie Rawxie a month ago in my The Wellness Necessities package, and it was pretty tasty! I picked up a cookie dough one as well because...well, duh. Again, like most of the goods I bought, I picture these as parts of yogurt bowls or other snacks, and I have an insane sweet tooth so that's why my haul is sweet-dominated!

Phew! Alright, so THOSE are the culprits that broke the bank today. I'm hoping that I'll enjoy most of them, but even if I don't, branching out and trying new foods is half the fun. DON'T restrict yourself or limit yourself. If something looks tasty, don't swear it off. There are versions of basically every snack under the sun made with better, wholesome, nutrient-rich ingredients that you can look into! I hope this list was helpful to those looking for new snacks, or at least interesting to anyone who has an obsession/hobby(?) of foodie finds.
Sending love, and an invitation for you all to join me on my next spree!!!
